    Low Fat Brownies

Ingredients You will Need

1 pkg. of regular chocolate or fudge brownie mix (19.5 oz)
½ c of plain applesauce
3 egg whites, separated from yolks
1 pkg. (8 oz.) of Neufchatel Cheese
¼ c of water
½ c of sugar
½ c of flour
Nonstick Cooking spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You will need two medium size bowls. Stir together brownie mix, applesauce, and two of the egg whites until blended. Pour mixture into a 13x9-inch baking pan (after coating it with cooking spray).

Mix together the Neufchatel cheese (1/3 less fattening than cream cheese), sugar, flour and the last egg white. Spoon cheese mixture on top of brownie batter. You can drag a knife through to make a marbleized look to your brownies. The brownies when done, will look like brown and white marble and taste like heaven.

Bake for 28 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with chunky crumbs attached. Cool in pan on wire rack. You can cut it into 32 (2x3 inch) servings. These brownies have only 3 grams of fat and 110 calories.
